  • Tirupati Temple: One of the most famous and richest temples in India, dedicated to Lord Venkateswara. It's a significant pilgrimage site, attracting millions of devotees annually.


  • Lepakshi: Known for the Veerabhadra Temple, which is a marvel of Vijayanagara architecture. The temple is famous for its hanging pillar and exquisite carvings.

  • Amaravati: An ancient city with significant Buddhist heritage. The Amaravati Stupa is a major attraction here, reflecting the grandeur of Buddhist architecture from the 2nd century BCE.

  • Gandikota: Often referred to as the "Grand Canyon of India," it is home to a historic fort overlooking the picturesque Pennar River gorge. The fort has several ancient structures, including temples and a mosque.

  • Borra Caves: These limestone caves are a natural wonder and also have archaeological significance with Paleolithic relics found inside.
